Anna Wolters
Counsellor
Membership: British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am a trained Integrative Therapist practising Person Centred Therapy with elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis.
As a predominantly Person Centred Therapist I use a gentle approach to help clients explore their issues, feelings, beliefs, behaviour and view of the world with an aim to becoming more self aware, resilient and independent in order to work through issues. I like to see my sessions as being a team with my client, with the client taking the lead in what they wish to work on. I am able to provide a safe space in which clients can talk through what is bothering them and make positive changes in their own lives.
I have been working as a counsellor since 2019 and have an extensive background in frontline healthcare, something I am extremely passionate about. I also have experience of the education system to Masters Level and have a deep understanding of the stresses and strains students go through.
I am able to provide sessions face to face, online and over the telephone.
